About Our Wine
Vineyard established in 1998 by winemaker Gary Quilici and family. All red wines are from our vineyard. Estate grown, produced and bottled. Quilici vineyards currently and happily offers five varietals - Barbara, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese, Syrah and Zinfandel. Future releases will include unique blends while maintaining our commitment to our flagship red wines, two of which come from the northern region of Italy, where Gary's father's and mother's families live, Lucca, San Columbano and Pisa.
Barbera - This grape varietal comes from the Piedmont region of Italy. It is hearty and complex with earthy flavors and a smooth finish.
Cabernet Sauvignon - A bold and full-bodied wine, aged in trditional oak, with hints of cherry and blackberry. Especially good with beef and pork.
Sangiovese - An Italian varietal from the Tuscany region. Not an ordinary Sangiovese. It is bolder than most with fruity flavors. Can be enjoyed with most foods or before a meal.
Syrah - An emerging varietal that grows well in the Northern California foothills. Smooth and fruity, aged in oak. Enjoy with almost any meal. Great with BBQ. Fabulous with cheese cake.
Zinfandel - Our Zinfandel tastes of rasberry flavors with a spicy peppery finish. Enjoy with foods that have bold flavors.
